2 · Slice the landscape

The size of zeta along one vertical slice of the strip. The slider moves the slice sideways.

Try this. Start away from the middle and watch the valley floor: it dips but never touches zero. Slide to one half and every dip lands exactly on the floor, at the marked heights. As far as anyone has ever computed, the touching happens only there.

Zeta is computed live along the slice, by the same recipe as the repository's Python library, and the marked heights come from the shipped zero table. That the touching happens only at one half is the Riemann hypothesis, verified here only as far as the picture reaches.
